Maybe if I wrapped her in bubble wrap...

...things like this wouldn't happen.

Sigh.

We were all outside. Dh was putting landscape rocks in, I was grilling chicken for dinner, the baby...well, she was inside playing on the floor, Amelia was blowing bubbles and Tess was trying to catch them.

Sounds idyllic right?

Wrong.

Tess is a little bit of a bull in a China shop. She is pigeon-toed and trips over her feet all of the time. Add a little bit of obliviousness (is that even a word?) to that and you have my Tess. She ran over the cement pad that we have waiting for a shed and fell. This time her forehead and nose took the brunt of the fall.

So after calling around for 20 minutes to find out what to do if a nose is broken, we bandaged her up and snapped away.

One day I am sure DCFS will show up on my door because of the constant scarring on her face. Ten minutes with her and they will know.

She definately does not look like she wanted you to take this picture. I am so sorry that she is so graceful. I'm sure it will get better.

Again? It seems like you just took the same picture with the bandages in different places. Poor thing!

Ouch! I have a soft spot in my heart for those with clutziness...because I'm one of them.

That picture is too precious to NOT smile, however.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who calls someone for 20 minutes just to figure out if something is broked. Hubby just loves getting those calls at work.

She'll appreciate you showing off that pic on her prom night.

My Joshua is the same way and I keep wondering how many times you can bonk yourself in pretty much the same place on your head before you cause brain damage! We also had the broken nose question a couple of weeks ago and so I called my 6'2" girlfriend who played college basketball figuring she had probably seen a few(turns out she mostly just caused them-ugh!) and she said if it is broken there is ALOT of blood. Lol!
