Because of Blogging...

...I have become more aware of my surroundings. There have been many incidents where I think "is this blogworthy?"

...I have things recorded that I wouldn't otherwise. I am not the worlds best journal writer and there are so many things that I wouldn't have written down.

...I am not afraid to express myself. Sure, you may not agree with what I have to say, however, I no longer care.

...I have learned what an amazing network of women there are in the world. I have made friends from all sorts of places and I have even worked up enough courage to meet some of them. That is not something I would have done a year ago.

...I have become more aware when I take pictures. I have no photography aspirations, but I do think about what I am taking a picture of when I take it. I want my kids to look back at pictures and remember the magic of childhood.

...I spend way too much time on the computer.

...I have been able to share my life with family that is far away.

...I have been able to share my life with friends and family that are close in a way that I never would have before.

So thank you all for joining me on this journey. This week it is my one year bloggiversary, as well as Itybtyfrog and Netties. On my records it only shows it from April, this is actually my second blog. My first one had too much private information. I have gone through periods of prolific writing and periods of drought. Sometimes I feel clever, sometimes I feel boring. As of late I am hormonal and emotional...not exactly the best time to be writing. So it is a period of famine for now. I will be back more as soon as my sickies subside and I can pull my behind out of bed for more than a 1/2 hour block of the day.

So make my day today. Come out of the lurking closet and say hi! I want to know who all of you are! You can comment even if you aren't a blogger. Just sign in as anonymous and type in your name at the bottom of your post. I would love to hear from you all...also I am a comment junkie.

Happy Blogaversary!!!

Great list! I can relate to all of the things you've mentioned that blogging has done for you...Especially causing you to spend too much time on the computer...that's becoming a real problem for me - my neck is stiff and my shoulders are killing me...

Happy, happy! I love this list of all the things blogging does for a person...And I TOTALLY relate to the weeks of plenty and the weeks of famine when it comes to blogging - but it's life. Rest up and come back - we'll all still be here.

This has been my favorite part! I love the friendship and support and the people I have made connections with. It's so neat for the grandparents to see us from afar... makes the distance seem lesser.

I've enjoyed your blog so much! Looking forward to another year of learning more about you. Happy Blogiversary!

Happy Blogiversary! How fun that you, Ity, and SAVOMS, all started blogging the same week.

I hope your morning sickness doesn't last for too long. It's such a horrible thing to get through!

It was fun to see my name under the "I've met You" category! I thought you were a fantastic person then and now too! :)

Happy Blogiversary! Hasn't the year gone by incredibly fast?I read somewhere that the average blog life is 55 days. Looks like we're in it for the long term, famines and all!

I'm coming up on my 1 year too. I can't believe it's been that long. I too have learned many things from blogging, and many are the same as you.

I hope you aren't sick for too long. I love reading your blog. Feel better!
