Tess on Bottoms
I can't help it. The girl says some funny things. I thought she would grow out of it, but I don't know that she ever will. The best part about Tess is her innocence. She doesn't say things with a malicious intent. Her heart is truly innocent and she just hasn't developed that filter. She says things and we try to direct her. Just when you think you are getting through to her, she says a doozy like this:
After following me around the house for a while she pats my bottom and says "Mommy, what did you eat that made your bum grow so big?" Um...

Oh gosh! I read and never comment, so I have to apologize- I feel you on this one- I don't yet have kids, but I Nannied while in college, (at which time I was 5'2'' and 200 pounds:( and one of the little boys I was sitting for asked me (so innocently) "why are you so fat"? Boy, they cut to the bone, huh? Just for the record, from your pictures you seem JUST FINE- remember, she's basing her comparison on her little (size 4T?) self!

She is so funny! I love it. It's alright, I get asked that by my EIGHT year old. My personal favorite is when they ask me why my teeth are so yellow! Can't wait to get braces off and get my teeth whitened!
Congratulations on the junk in your trunk - I hear it's all the rage. You must be one fine looking lady!
LOL!! I have heard comments like this from my kids as well, and you just have to love them all the more for it!
