Tess'isms
Said while spending the night at Grandma's:
Grandma: "Tess, you are such a beautiful girl."
Tess (hanging her head in sadness): "My mom never says I am beautiful...only silly."
She has been told she is beautiful about a thousand times since then...to my credit, I do call her pretty all of the time. I was using the wrong word.
Said while doing her hair:
"Mom, when Amelia was little, I was hangin' with Jesus."

I'm glad you saw my award for you. You have given my beautiful daughter to finally have the motivation to allow me to show off her pretty curls with a pretty 'do!
