5 Months

Squishy turned 5 months a week or so ago...things are getting busy around here so I am just now posting this.

In the past month she has:

Finally mastered the art of eating cereal. We just skipped the brown rice (I have issues with plain rice) and went straight to oatmeal...she is particular about how it is fixed and needs a little cinnamon and nutmeg.

And she now has a love of apples. Don't worry...I watch for chunks.

We have had a bought with thrush and have turned her into a Smurf-wannabe and in the process turned everything else blue as well.

Squishy doesn't like to be alone. Product of being the baby of the family. We bought her a little seat and she sits happily wherever we are. She has to be a part of the action.
She finally figured out that those hands do things. Fun things. Like pull her mi-mi (pacifier) out and make her scream...at the top of her lungs.

Naptime and bedtime have become...interesting. She has always been a belly sleeper. She just won't sleep unless she is on her tummy. About three weeks ago we would put her to bed and the little inchworm would pull her bottom up and flip over and then get mad because she can't sleep on her back. It hasn't stopped yet.

Her little personality is starting to show. She is super sweet and so much fun. She giggles and laughs at everything. She loves her sisters and grins from ear to ear when she sees them walk in the room. She recognizes her grandma and aunts now. I love it when that happens.

Time is going by so fast. I am not ready for this to be over yet.

The baby stage never really last very long. Enjoy it for as long as you can. Squishy is so cute!

Not that your other kiddos aren't adorable but she is just adorable!

What a cutie! I feel like time with Chloe is just flying by. I try to stop myself though and enjoy every moment I can. These moments won't be coming around again until grandchildren which better be a long way off!

I think you should have put a remote control in one hand and a Big Mac in her other hand in the last picture. That would have been classic!

She is darling. I can't believe how fast time is going by either. She is so darling, and is definitely starting to have her own look. But she still looks like one of yours. Funny how that works. Love that baby of yours!

She is adorable! It's always so hard to see babyhood pass so quickly. I wish it could stay around for just a little bit longer...

She is just too cute. I'm sorry it flies by so quickly. If I knew how to keep them little longer, trust me, I wouldn't be teaching--because I'd be bloody rich, A. And B., I figure if I can make babyhood stick around, we can just avoid that whole catastrophe which is adolescence.

She is a doll!! Malia loved apples when she was little. THey have these mesh things at babies r us that you put the apple in and she can chew it but not get any chunks. We used ours all the time!!
