It's a Girl...or a Boy!!!

We were supposed to find out today. "Supposed to" being the operative phrase. My midwife started the ultra sound and he said "Awwww, there is her little leg." and proceeded to tell us that it was a girl because there was nothing between the legs. Then the baby turned and there was something between the legs. So the verdict is in. It's a girl or a boy. He couldn't be sure which means we can't be sure. He told us to not cut the tags off anything yet.

That stinks.

He is very understanding and told me that I don't have to have an appointment to have an ultrasound and that if I am dying to know, that I can just ask to come in and have them look at the gender.

He is nice like that.

Our baby, however is not. Doesn't it know that I can't stand the suspense!

Hopefully soon you'll know! So nice that they are so flexable to let you come back in to check him/her out!!!

What a naughty baby. My babies never participated in that ultrasound stuff either.

Except one, and then it was completely obvious. And it was good because until we saw the baby's, uh, area, we were going to name him Olivia.

That's too bad! The same thing happened when I was pregnant with my first. They checked again for me the next month and we found out we were having a boy. The problem was that since it wasn't a necessary ultrasound, our insurance didn't cover it. Oh well, it was worth $150 to find out we were having a boy! ;)

I always wanted a surprise, but DH didn't. And even if I tried not to look on the ultrasound, I could always tell what it was. My guess is girl!

I can't wait to find out what you are having!! I go in on June 6th. I can't wait. I hope we are having the same gender again. That would be fun.

I'm a little slow on the uptake, but I love your new header.

And I still think it's a boy.

My oldest did that to us, too! They tried to roll her and roll her, but...she would always move her hands just so we could not see! I was the only one that looked immediately when she was born to find out what gender she was. The doctor and DH were too worried about making sure she was healthy!

It may be frustrating, but it is also fun to not know!

hmmmm. Frustrating if you want to know-the surprise is always fun too though. Are you going to go back in?

Hope you are feeling better lately!
