What is happening

So it is 9:17 in the evening. I have a sink full of dishes that need to be washed, a bathroom full of laundry that needs to be done (7 loads I think), an activity that needs to be planned, a school party that needs to be coordinated, a kitchen table that has reached its weight limit with crap, a food storage room that needs to be straightened, a bunch of too small clothes for the kids that need to be put away, toys that need to be picked up and about a million things that need to find a home somewhere in my house.

And what am I doing?

Hanging out on the computer.

A girl has to have priorities.

LOL! I'm doing the same thing! I wanted to make a batch of cookies tonight but now I'm just gonna go to bed.

Same here.
DH always says: "babe, don't worry about it, the dishes will still be there in the morning".

:D

I totally agree. Wouldn't we ALL be doing those things now if our priorities were different? :)

I am doing it too... blogging is the best way to unwind... the dishes, laundry, gift wrapping, Christmas card addressing and holiday goody bags for co-workers can wait until tomorrow, right?

Okay, I'll go do at least of them before I hit the hay! DANG!

I have a hard time being productive in the evening. When the kids are in bed the time is my time.

That's what is great about being the Queen of your home. You get to decide what happens and when. I love that about being "Mommy". :)

I think we all do that at times. My house got to tornado stage and I finally decided to do a little clean-up. Still haven't done my room yet. Oh, well life goes on and it's too short, so I'm gonna enjoy it!

Totally the kind of priorities I would have too.

That's me today. I've been really working hard lately trying to get stuff done, and this morning, I just decided today was lazy day. Sometimes you just need to do that to stay sane.

And, NCS, worrying about whether the dishes will still be there in the morning is the LAST of my worries! Oh, if only they would magically disappear...

Yep. Those are my priorities too.

Priorities are very important. What would we do without them?? All I can say is; it's a good thing I only have computer access at work, or my house would look like a complete and total pig-sty.
