Happy Freakin' Thanksgiving

I took my kids to Wally World tonight for Christmas lights and a few food necessities. As I was walking out of the store, IN the white cross walk lines where people are SUPPOSED to stop and then drive slow, this guy cam whizzing past me and was literally an inch from my cart. My cart that my two little girls were in. THREE separate people said "He almost hit you!" That is right. HE almost hit us! I pushed my shopping basket to our car where HE WAS PULLING INTO THE STALL NEXT TO US!!!! I was boiling and proceeded to put my kids in the van as he and his fourteenish daughter got out of his van. I said "People are supposed to SLOW DOWN in parking lots, not speed up." rather loudly. I unloaded my things and got into my seat as he came out with his daughter, his wife and his 16ish son. He came up to my van window and started to tell me that I needed to go to the hospital and get medication for my problem. MY PROBLEM! MY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ALMOST HIT MY KIDS YOU JERK AND YOU CAN'T EVEN SAY YOU ARE SORRY LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING WITH A HEART!!!!

Well we exchanged words and he kept insisting that I belong in a mental ward. I kept insisting that he belonged in jail. Finally I dropped the mother of all swear words followed by and "off" and drove off.

HE ALMOST HIT MY KIDS AND HE BLAMED ME FOR IT!!!!

I would hate to be his wife. I'll bet that she is responsible for everything that goes wrong in that house.

If he had hit my kids and me I hope it was worth him getting to Wal-Mart a whole ten seconds earlier. I hoped that he would think about that for fifteen-to-life.

Before I dropped the monster word, I told him that this Thanksgiving I am going to be grateful that my kids were alive.

Thanks for listening to my vent. I now have to go and see if I can get my blood temperature to come down a few notches.

Oh, and I am so glad that his spawn will be on the roads as well.

Oh my god, you better believe I'd have been dropping bombs like that. I cannot believe he blamed you for it!

I had almost the exact same thing happen at Sam's Club on Saturday. I HATE parking lots this time of year!

How scary! I am so glad that you are all okay.

Someone did that through the cross walk at my kids' school the other day. You could see the crossing guard was just fuming, but the guy was gone so quick you couldn't do anything about it. One more reason I drive my kids to school thank you very much!

Hope the rest of your Thanksgiving holiday goes much better!

Jerk. I hate people who don't take any responsibility for the wrongs they do but instead blame the other party.

Have a good rest of the week ok?

I'm glad you're back, but sad that this is the story you had to tell. People can be such jerks!! This 16-ish kid gave me the finger the other day because he thought I was pulling out in front of him. (I wasn't. I had to scoot up to see past a parked car...) I just wanted to follow him and whip his little teenage butt!
Glad you and your girls are ok!!

Our grocery store parking lot is an accident waiting to happen every day. I shook my head at a guy who was sitting there waiting for his wife in a no-parking zone. He then zoomed past me and called me a name I won't repeat - with his wife in the car. Jerk!

The holidays totally bring out people's TRUE personalities! UGH! I would have vented and fumed about it exactly the same way YOU did! I'm so GLAD that you are all right! I hope it was worth it for him...if not...he'll be in the same situation soon! :P

Protecting your kids is a problem that deserves admittance to a mental hospital? Right. And what about what he just taught his kids?

I can't stop shaking my head about this guy!

I love you Steph!

Yeah, count me among the crazies. I should have kept my cool. Unfortunately, hit the wrong button and I am like an explosive. My girls are the red button at the top.

Thanks for all of the sympathy. I re-read my post and realized that I have a lot of typos. Note to self. Never type when you are angry! You all are the best!

"Old"! It is so good to "see" you here!!!!!! I miss you!!!! When are you going to start your own blog so that I can keep tabs on you?!?!?!

Oh, that's awful!

That is just sad! And how goofy this happens around the start of the holiday rush. I went shopping yesterday morning and everyone was not acting very thankful or spirited -- SELFISH!!!

HOLY COW. I might've called the cops on him. Maybe not, though. I always think of those things too late. I'm so glad you're all safe!

I always get so sad when people act like that in front of their children - then they wonder why their kids don't take responsibility for for their actions either. How frustrating...I am gladd you all are ok!
