How does a child of the 80's give birth to a child of the 80's?

I picked outfit out last night. She put the boots on with the pants tucked in and told me how she wanted her hair. I laughed and laughed! We left her braids in from yesterday and she looks like she has crimped hair.

History really does repeat itself.

all she needs is jelly bracelets.

I am still in denial that skinny jeans could ever be popular again.

I second valarie and say add some leg warmers too!

I'm loving the pose and the yes-I'm-determined-to-wear-this face.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH STYLES? I'd NEVER thought that stuff would come back into popularity! (I like the way she looks tho!)

I don't think that 80's fashion was good enough to repeat. Surely we could choose a different decade!
Daughter looks quite cute though I have to say.

When I was a teen, my mom would say "fashions come back", I always thought she was just kidding.
As you know, I'm totally against skinny jeans, not too good then, and never good now.
She looks totally cute though.

Too cute...love the boots!

My favorite part is the bow. It's kinda Madonna-wanna-be-ish.

I love that pose, too! She looks good and she knows it!

Okay, I'm rejoicing in the return of skinny pants. Call me odd!

And I love the big bow look on little girls!

Isn't this so crazy! I took my 10 year old daughter school shopping and thought we'd entered into a time warp...

I would have bet money that gouchos were NEVER coming back...

Oh my!! I bet it's like looking in a mirror. I still can't believe that 80's style is coming back! PUKE! (She looks very cute, though!)

Thanks for commenting and helping me get to my 125 comments! :-)

I wondered the same thing when my #1 put on some footless black tights/leggings under a skirt the other day.

Very chic! Almost looks like it could be a picture of Kristen when she was in 6th or 7th grade. I can't think of any decade we want to go back to. It seems that what comes back is the worst of each one. (Bell bottoms, anyone??)

In answer to yesterday's post, I am guilty of disliking pretty much everything about my body right now. I need to look with new eyes. Thanks for the reminder!

Hey, if bellbottoms can come back, anything can come back! I couldn't tell if the look on her face said, "I can't believe you dressed me up like this," or maybe it was, "I can't believe you're making such a big deal of such a normal look."

Have a great weekend,
Andrew

She looks so cute! I loved parts of the 80's just not the fashion. She can totally pull it off though!

She looks cute. But you won't catch me tight rolling my jeans or wearing a large sweater over leggins any time soon!!
