AYSO stands for "All Your Saturdays Occupied"

MY BUTT IS COLD!!!! Yes, that is what I said. I could tell my DH and I am sure he would love to help me regain feeling in my behind. We all know where that leads and frankly, my nose is running a little too much for that today.

M and I went to her soccer game this morning at 8:00. Thirty degree weather in September. Insane. Today was also soccer picture day. It is crazy trying to get a kid picture ready that early in the morning. There should be a law. Even on school days I have longer than that. All of the girls slightly resembled a red-nosed reindeer. BRRRRRR!

They were darling. The girls were real troopers. Even with the slush on the ground and the sobs that accompanied every fall, they were good sports. I don't fault them for the crying; it always seems to hurt more when your skin is cold. I did the single mom thing this morning. We opted to have my DH and T stay home. T is not a morning person and having her there and whining about being so cold wasn't my idea of fun. M and I had a good time though. We were able to snuggle between quarters and it is so refreshing to just sit and chat with her with no outside interruptions. She is so fun to watch. Each Saturday she tells me that she is going to get a goal.

I think we are going to make hot chocolate, sit around and watch movies all day long. I love Saturdays like this! No where else to go, nothing else to do. Fantastic!

Guess what…my butt is still cold. How do you warm up THAT set of cheeks?!?

My butt is cold too! Luckily, our game wasn't 'til 9 and it was a balmy 44 degrees by then.

While I'm ready for cooler tempteratures, that's just a too cool so fast for me! I'm glad she had fun with the game!

Sounds like a nice day minus the slush coming down. It's so weird that it's THIS cold already!

Have a wonderful day thawing out and hanging with the fam!

You are too funny! I'm glad we're not out there with the ice cube sports parents...yet. Hope you warm up soon!

I'm cold and I haven't even left the house. I guess I'm not as ready for fall as I thought.

Two words girl-friend: Fire Place. Nothing better than a toasty fire for cold cheeks!

My rear is almost always cold. I don't think the blood circulates very well in that area for me.

Love the pic of your darling daughter!

Your Saturday sounds wonderful!

I heard all about this crazy cold spell.. my older son is in Utah visiting my parents right now. What a change for him to go from the mid-90's to the low 40's. He called me today and has a cold already.

Amen to AYSO. Except over here it's also 3 evenings a week as well as Saturdays. It's my fault for marrying a sport nut.

Sorry about your cold buns. Maybe warm a towel in your oven and then wrap it around your tushie. Is that safe?

I have an electric seat thingy that warms, cools, massages, and vibrates your butt troubles away. Would it be too much to drag a generator out to the soccer field with you?

Your daughter is really cute, by the way!

My butt, hands and face is cold too! :) I can't believe this weather!! Our photographer today was CONSTANTLY commenting on how freakin' cold it was!! (I just laughed...he wasn't the one wandering all over kingdome come without his jacket on!!)
Your daughter looks great in that pic! I'm sure she'll get her goal one of these days! :) (How did she get so tan?)

Char: LOL @ "balmy"! You are such a comedian!

Ity: I kind of miss the orange. It is a lot harder to find her team on the field. Why are you husbandless?

NCS: Thanks for your tears

Nikkie: No kidding, it is too fast for me too.

Gina: Ditto!

Julie: You will have your turn, and you get a double whammy at the sports parents thing.

Valarie: Me too.

MOAT: Hee, hee. Your intials spell moat. I turned ours on. I seriously didn't think of that! I think my brain associates it with winter.

TX: Wow, 90. I think my favorite is the crisp air around 60. Thanks for noticing her hair. She has been begging me for bangs since the first of summer. I finally cut her some. She looks like a different kid.

Gabs: Cold behind sisters instead of blood brothers.

Chel: We are having our first bouts with colds here too.

TMM: I actually pulled out my heating pad. Worked wonders on my frozen buns.

EWBL: No problem at all! I have muscles.

Dawnyel: I can't wait to see your pictures. I hope you get them back soon. She is dark like that year-round. Lucky kid. My DH has very olive skin and I am the only one of my siblings with lily-white skin, they all have beautiful olive tones. My DH has dark German genes and I am a quarter Sioux. She was lucky and got the year-round tan. Poor T, she got my skin...now if only we could figure out where the blonde came from.

No cold fannies here, yet. I was hoping to turn the AC off soon. Maybe one more week.

I guess you could put your buns on the grill to warm them up! *LOL*
30 degree weather in September saounds like torture to me. You are both troopers for venturing out. Glad you are looking forward to a restful Saturday. Hope it was nice!

OUCH! I remember going to Matt's first t-ball game. It was in the low 50's and drizzling rain. BLAH!

What parents go through!!!

Sorry about the cold bum. I love when it gets cold outside though because it's a good excuse to jump in the scalding hot shower at night before bed. I am in love with scalding hot showers.

Okay, early freaky freezes are one thing I DON'T miss about living there. (Maybe the only thing!) Hopefully, your buns are nice and toasty by now!

I can't believe it's cold there!! I can't imagine it ever getting cold where I live? Come to AZ you'll warm up real quick!

M picture is adorable. And, as usual love the hair!

That's funny. I understand, but right now I am almost longing for the days when I'll be cold. Your daughter is so pretty.

I hear ya! We had 2 football and one soccer game in 35 degree weather with wind and wet grass. Livie was freezing and whining to be put down to crawl, but it was all muddy and wet. I finally gave up and watched from the van.

Nice anonymous comment before mine....

My butt is always cold. I don't even have to go outside for it to happen. Being pregnant, you'd think that there would be more blood flowing in that area.
