I.AM.BORED

I am sitting here all alone in my clean house and I have nothing left to do. I just talked to my DH for about 45 minutes. I miss him. I just talked to my baby who is giving him a hard time about going to bed (he-he-he) and I miss her. My other baby is sleeping. I miss her too.

I folded laundry while watching "The Italian Job" Mark Wahlberg...YUM! I cleaned up the family room. I planned my lesson. I picked the lettuce. I watered my flowers. I unloaded the dishwasher...I cannot believe that I did housework when I had alone time.

But since I miss my kiddies so much I decided that I would share some pictures that I took of them at the reunion today. I am finally learning how to use my camera and I am getting a little more adventerous....

****Wait...A knock on my door...the cops...wowzer! They are responding to a call to complain about fireworks, PHEW...wrong house! I am home alone...I answered the door with the phone in my hand ready to dial 911...WOWZER!!!***

Okay, my heart is still pounding. That was SCARY! Where was I? That's right...pictures. Having been inspired by my friends Kara, Brandi and Nettie, I am trying to take better pictures of my kiddlets. I could never be a pro, nor do I have the drive to do it, I just want some pretty pictures that they can look at when they are older and not whine because they are terrible.

Here are todays experiments, they look a little grainy because I had to save them to a small format...I am running out of picture room on this blog:

Not terribly shabby. By the way...I LOVE Photoshop!!!

I am off to bed...ALL BY MYSELF!!!

And I thought I was jealous! I would be doing the same thing you are...nothing...all alone sounds great, until you get it! :)
Those pics are SOOOOOOO good! I wouldn't have thought that an amateur did them...They look SO professional! Way to go! I wish I was that good! :)

Good pictures! I don't know how people took pictures before digital and before photoshop :) ok, not really, but it makes a huge difference.

Alone-ss and silence have a weird way of reminding us who we love, even if sometimes we want to go all “boot camp” on our loved ones.

Cops...I love their show.

Enjoy your last few hours of missing your family.

I'd probably be doing the same thing your doing if I got the chance to be alone, my house would finally be spotless!

The pictures are fantastic! I just love digital cameras! No waiting to see if they turned out good or not!

I'm sorry you are lonely! I actually think that cleaning when the rest of the family is gone is the BEST time, because then it actually stays that way and you can enjoy it longer.

How scary about the cops! At least you know they are quick responders!

Oh, and thank you for the link and compliment! I think your pictures are fabulous. Having such pretty subjects really does help make for great photos! And I love digital cameras for good pics. I seriously have to take about a bazzillion to get any good ones!

Precious pictures. Know the "everything is done what do I do now" feeling. Glad you chose to blog. :)

What gorgeous babies. I think alone time would get tedious after a while... or would it? I agree with Nettie - alone time is the best time for housework.

Cute, cute kids. The pictures are adorable.

And congrats on cleaning your house and for staying in town to do your Primary lesson. What a trooper! When I was in the Primary presidency, it seems every week I'd have at least one teacher who just didn't show up. No call, no notice, nothing. I sure appreciated teachers like you!

And at least you know the police are speedy! Nice to know when you are alone.

Great job on the pictures. I count my successes when he hasn't run out of the frame before I get it taken.

I'd have slept with every light on after getting scared. Actually, I probably would have even if the cops hadn't shown up.

I missed your ALONE post, but loved your list! The funny things we will do alone after having kids. Your pictures are very good, don't sell yourself short. I love the first one of your oldest daughter!

Pics are great! I'd love photoshop too...if I could figure out how to use it! LOL I downloaded the free trial yesterday...took almost TWO HOURS on CABLE internet! For that kind of time investment, it had better get better than what I got! LOL

Oh ... what I'd give to be ALONE right now ...!!!

3 babies, 3 different nap times (coming home from a morning parade 2 kind of slept, 1 didn't ... 1 is exhausted, 2 are grumpy) and a DH that forgot to turn off the propane last weekend so we have no juice for our grill today (didn't realize it until we went to fire it up this afternoon). We had PB&J, instead. Barbeques on the 4th of July are over-rated.

Nothing makes the heart grow fonder like a little absence. You don't realize just how much you miss having sounds in the house until you are alone for a while. Of course, I bet it's nice having a really clean house, too!! :)

Oh, they are soooo cute! And I don't think they look grainy! Good job!

You sound bored. I know I would be if my entire family was gone. An hour, maybe....but not for much longer than that! ;-)

Wait just one minute here. Didn't your previous post state that you would not be doing HOUSEWORK! Well, I hope you at least enjoyed part of your time alone, the part sans the cops pounding on your door, that is.

What gorgeous kids! You did a great job. I am sorry that you are bored. I am the same way though. I finally get a chance to ba alone and I miss all of them too much to enjoy! At least your house is clean. That is always a good thing! :)

Wow! You can come to my house and be bored . . .you sure get a lot done!

Cute pictures . . . watch out for Photoshop, it will pull you in. Next thing you know, you'll be at Barnes and Noble buying books about it. Have you checked out digital scrapbooking. If not, you need to go to twopeasinabucket.com

Don't say I didn't warn you!! :)

Totally beautiful kids!!!

I know how you feel about missing the kiddos. A few years ago we went on a solo vacation for five nights. I looked forward to it for a year, thinking it would be five days of total bliss to be able to do whatever I wanted. In a way, it was, but I missed my kids SO much.
