I Can Now Resume My Regularly Scheduled Blogging

I apologize for my absence. I had no idea that summer would make blogging take such a huge hit. We took that trip to Southern Utah, then I went to Lava Hot Springs with my mom and sisters, various relatives and friends and then came home and had to prepare for an Enrichment mini-class I was teaching on tea-dying and stitcheries. I have been BUSY! I missed you all so much and I can't help but feel a little like a stranger when I come back and see so many FAB things I have to check up on.

Here are the two things that I was working on to display at this class. The flowery one has been completed for a year, however I just stitched the border on it and placed it in the frame.

These are ones that I pulled out of my holiday decorations to display. There was no way I was going to dig into the Christmas decor. I kept the flag pillow out. Yay for Independence Day!

This last one is one that I made for my mom on Mother's Day 2005. I made DH steal it from their house. Shhh....Don't tell!

I seriously love stitcheries, almost as much as I love blogging. I love making the pattern and seeing it come to fruition. This hobby is so soothing for me on so many levels. From the pattern to the hanging, it makes me happy.

Wow, you do cute stuff! I want something like what you stole from your ma's house... that frame and stitchery montage is so cute!

I am not a stalker either, but you don't have an email, so I have to communicate only thru your comments section. Sorry.

Thank you for visiting me more than once tonight! I feel honored after reading Nicole's blog about you limiting yourself to 3 blogs to read. You are so disciplined!

Anyway, please email me at ihartpartly@hotmail.com and I will email you if I have multiple comments next time.

I love seeing stitcheries...but I don't love doing them. I just don't have the patience. I have to see the progress, otherwise I just won't get it finished! These are all SO cute! :)

WOW I love them all! I especially like the one you made for your mom...AND the Thanksgiving one because I hardly have anything decorative for Thanksgiving. I'm SO going to copy you!

How cute that is! I need to get more motivated. I understand what you mean about letting blogging slide during the summer. I'm wondering how I will fit everything in! Thanks for visiting my site.

I love stitching too. My sister-in-law got me into it. I have a bunch done, and ready to frame. Yours are absolutely beautiful!!

Absolutely adorable! But I have to say I don't think I have ever heard of "stitchery"? I know call me a geek, but is it the same thing as cross-stitch? Don't beat me up too bad, I'm just trying to learn something. :)

Those are so beautiful! I'm jealous of people who are so creative with that kind of thing. I need to get a hobby like that!

Theresa: I am so not going to beat you up. I have never cross-stitched or counted cross stitched. I don't have the patience for that. I went to a boutique about three years ago and I bought a peice that was "stitched". I came home and decided I could do it for a lot cheaper. So I did.

I am probably doing lots of things wrong, but I really don't care.

There is now a huge community of women who do "stitcherys" I think there is even a blogger who goes by "Your Stitchery Friend". For more FABULOUS stitchery ideas you can visit itybtyfrogideas.blogspot.com. She is extremely talented at these.

Those things are amazing!! Do you sell them? You should start an online store! I think I would probably purchase every single one you had pictured! SO cute!
