A favorite season, a favorite holiday
I have always loved the autumn. The feel in the air...almost a crispness when you take a breath. I love the colors, the smells, the looming of winter on the wind.
It wasn't until I had Sophie that I loved Halloween. Not scary Halloween, but the little things that make it a fun holiday. The girl has been dressed in orange and black and witches and candy corns since the first day of the month. Nothing makes you love a holiday more than having a baby on that holiday.
When we went to Disneyland, Tessie's favorite ride was "Nightmare Before Christmas". I want to decorate my entire house like Jack's mansion, but we will settle on a wreath. Every time I look at it, I think of my sweet girl grabbing my hand and muttering "I want Jack" under her breath.
I kind of laughed to myself when I put the berries on this ledge. Apparently I like Halloween year-round. The only addition was the berries.
Sometimes I feel guilty about this sign. My Amelia tries really hard not to read it before meals, but she inevitably does. Then the girl gets sick to her stomach because she thinks about the food on there. She LOVES deviled eggs. She said she didn't want them at all anymore because of the "twice baked eyeballs". I told her that those were in fact, twice-baked potatoes. Since she doesn't like potatoes, we are good.

Hello - found you via your hair blog.
Ohhh your door wreath is lovely. I'm not normally into the twigs and store-bought-flowers look...but your arrangement has just changed my opinion! Sweet.
So cute! I haven't hauled out any of our fall stuff yet this year. What the heck is wrong with me???
I remember your spooky buffet of scary foods last year with your family. You DO get into the fall holidays! It's fun to see your decorations and beautiful little girls enjoying this time of year!
I love your wreath! I also love that last pic with your initial in it. Very elegant!
happy fall!! Want to help me decorate my house? I don't even know what to put out for fall since we have more of a "cooled-off summer" and then a rainy season for winter.
cute! cute! I love those pictures of the gals by the fall leaves.
Visiting via tipjunkie. Wow, that wreath is amazing, did you make it? Love it! I love Jack too!
I love fall too. I miss all the pretty colors of the leaves as they change. They don't really do that hear. Fall makes me miss home.
Love the wreath!!
Love the jars of scary food - where did you find those treats? My kids would get a big kick out of them.
I am loving you even more! I follow your hair blog faithfully and here I've found a new side of you via tip junkie! Yippee!
Your decorations are darling.
I wanna come to your house for fall!
If I was only as motivated as you! I did finish my wall though, 5 coats later!
Your house looks awesome! I could come and spend the afternoon there. So nice and homey (is that really a word?) You definitely have a knack for decorating.

I am super jealous. You have the cutest decorations and the greatest taste!!! Good job... I will stop by here and enjoy the holidays as often as I can. Especially as all my decorations are in Storage in Utah, and I have nothing here... Thanks for sharing! It's beautiful.
I need to pull out our fall stuff too. But I'm pretty sure that's like three things. Way cute stuff though!
