Memories...Kind of , sort of, not really a meme

I've seen this on the blogs of a few other people and thought it was kind of fun. Reading the comments is the exceptionally entertaining bit. Here's what you do:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

hmmm, they're kind of limited.

There's that time Char and just I just missed you and ABCmomma at the park and drove all over looking for you before we ever me, but that's more about Char.

but then there's that time when we all finally did meet and were laughing so much in Applebee's that even another server had to stop and comment.

I'm excited to hang out again.

My memories are the same as Val's. ROFL.

That night at Applebee's might be the most fun I've ever had in my entire life. Ever.

Wow, this is a hard one. Not because I have no memories of you, but because I have SO MANY!

So, since you are my BFF, do I have the right to share two memories?

Please don't shoot me for writing this. You can delete it after you read it if you want. But seriously, one of my favorite memories with you was the day we were going to Albertsons to hit their awesome 10 for 10 sale, and when you came down to my house your eyes were red from crying because you and dh had just had a little tiff. But I had the hardest time not busting up when you told me that a beet was at the center of the fight. Then when you told me that you had thrown the blasted thing in front of the lawn mower for him to run over, I about lost it! Seriously, it just painted the funniest picture in my head. I LOVED THAT MEMORY! Not that I loved seeing you sad, but you gotta admit that is funny!

Okay, another memory: Remember when we went shopping for, um, toys and stuff? Remember how we walked into that first store and giggled like school girls because we were so embarrassed? We left that place and couldn't believe what we were just exposed to. We thought we were adventurous, but, uh, maybe not THAT adventurous! So then we ended up and Spencers and joking about the cashier thinking we were probably going to buy that stuff and then "compare notes." HEHEHEHE. Good times. When are we going "Shopping" again???

Love ya, Steph!!!

YOu beat me to my first memory of you - but I'll add to it ... driving home from the evil haunted house, you and Jer were in the backseat ... you laying on his lap (soooo darling!) and you said "Jer, when you're done with school can we move to Oregon? There's a really great school there and I'd love to major in ___ (can't remember)". I remember thinking "she is SO cool that she already knows what she wants to major in AND has done her research. :)
X-Files were a must. I loved the carpet - it was beautiful. Your apartment always smelled good, too. :)

One of my favorite memories (besides you hauling new hotel mattresses at midnight on the roof of your minivan in Lava) would have to be when we were driving home from youth conference on the Snake River and you were in the front seat of your mom's van. She spit her gum out your window and it landed a little short...in your lap. You woke up, of course, and she insisted that somebody driving by just spit their gum out of their window and it flew by her and landed on you. And you totally bought it. We in the back were threatened into silence...what else could we do?

I remember you babysitting Alice and sisters.

Also the same trip to the Snake river Rookie talked about. Is that the same trip where we broke the van seat while bouncing to "I will walk five hundred miles?"

My friend Wendy found your blog - Hair Today. I've been checking in often because I have two little girls - my oldest is 3 and has a LOT of hair, my youngest is 6 months and has some. As a kid, I always enjoyed doing other people's hair, although I'm not good at doing my own!

Today I had some free time to surf around (which is rare!) and found that you have two other blogs!

You are certainly one crafty mom!
I'm currently on a blogging break.
I started over a year ago and really love it. I decided to close my blog to invite only because I was having trouble with people using my last name and city and linking me to their pages. Just safer.

Anywho - just wanted to tell you I enjoy following along. Your girls are certainly beautiful!

:0)
Thanks for a great and much needed break from busy life!

What a fun idea.

Ok, I don't know if my old brain can think back that far. there are just a few random things I can remember. I don't know why I remember wacky womens week sophmore year when we did the mixed up dinner and your mom and Janet served us. Or when we did our chinese dinner in your basement for valentines dance. I also remember the slumber parties out on the trampoline. Ahh, what fun times.

I can remember playing games with a bunch of women at your kitchen table. It is funhy how the game kind of got pushed aside and the talking kept on going.

I remember we had just been living here for a few months. We still didn't know that many people in the ward. We got called into primary and had your sweet daughter in our class. One day you were talking to me and called me by name. I was so surprised that you knew my name! I just thought you were so sweet and funny! You're so kind to everyone!

I remember coming to your house to VT with Becky and we would talk and talk and talk for hours, give a short 30 second "lesson", and then talk and talk some more. I miss those times.

The time Cami talked about when a bunch of the ladies got together at your house to play games was the best!
We need to do that again sometime.

I would have to vote for a babysitting adventure. I remember making home made paper dolls with you for hours! So fun

And I have to admit, I agree with Rookie. Hauling the mattress at Lava in the middle of the night will never be forgotten. Oh my heavens! I still don't understand why they just had an extra one around the place? Good times in Lava.
