Forgive me...

...for I have judged.

I'll admit it. I have been a judger in the past. I worked around kids for years. I would cringe whenever I would see a child walk into the museum wearing *GASP* tights and tennis shoes. What were those mothers thinking? Did they really think the two went together? I didn't get how a mom could think that even looked cute. You were the parent. Learn how to put your foot down. It couldn't be THAT bad making your child wear the cute shoes.

Right?

Then I had Spunky.

I love that kid.

But sometimes we don't mesh well.

And I learned why those moms let their little girls wear cute dresses and tights and tennis shoes.

And I will never judge again...

...unless it is Sunday.

She is just so darn cute. You can't help but be sucked in by her charm. My sister still talks about her and the trip to Bear Lake they went on with your parents.

You rotten, rotten mother! I cannot even believe you let her out of the house looking like that! And I am even a witness to see that you not only let her out like that, but that she came home with her shoes on the wrong feet! I am disgusted. Some mothers...

I love that girl!!!

LOL! But look how cute she is! Why would anyone look down at her feet.

Greta has wanted to pick her own clothes since before I thought she should care. I am ready to stop buying her cute clothes because all she wantes to wear are the trashed hand me downs. On second thought I just need to get rid of the trashed hand me downs.

But I just love them mom.

Sometimes as moms we care too much. When really it's these little ones that help us to see things how they truly should be. Why do we as moms care what others think. If they can do it themselves and it is less work for us. Then it really doesn't matter. RIGHT! Oh but it does...I know!!!

Yep- you pick your battles. That's why my son was dressed as a fireman when he went to the dentist. :)

Oh, the battles are just beginning. Sometimes my girls get out to the car before I can do a visual check. Sometimes we just need to get going and I have to overlook the fashion faux pas.

Very cute outfit BTW-even with the shoes! I am sure they are way more comfy than the mj's :)

"but I love them mom"

Too cute. I just saw a little girl running down the sidewalk yesterday wearing a plaid skirt, crazy Punky Brewster tights, and her big snow boots. You can't help but smile.
