Today is the day for the wearing o' the green.

We started the day with GREEN Cream of Wheat and little Leprechauns that had turned our toilets green. What other kind of mischief will happen? Stay tuned!

The Leprechauns have been hard at work. They keep using our bathrooms and no matter how many times we flush, they keep turning the water green.

They have been turning over furniture and leaving a green mess everywhere they go.

The girls and I have made and decorated cupcakes, with of course, green frosting. And may I suggest that if you come to our house to eat, I would avoid the cupcakes unless you are okay with kid slobber. If you are, be my guest.

Dinner is in the crock-pot. Roast, carrots and cabbage. I shudder and heave at the mere thought of corned-beef. So roast it is. Green Jell-O and green Kool-Aid are in the fridge waiting for dinner. I even took a crack at Irish soda bread. I only have to make green butter and we are ready.

After Daddy came home, the treasure hunt commenced. The clue clearly said "Where the clothes are dried." So how come she is climbing in the washer?

Spunky trying to read a clue. I am glad we have a picture of her sitting this way. Since she was able to sit up by herself, she has sat with her legs like this.

They found it! A little hard work, a little thought and a lot of running.

Happy St. Patty's Day! From our house to yours!

Your girls look adorable! I can't believe how much the princess has grown up over the last year!

It looks like a fun day ahead for your family... but with a mom like you, that is not surprising! I can't wait to see the rest!

Fun! I reminded my kids to wear green- but that was the extent of the irish fun at our house.

Man, you're a fun Mom! We completely forgot about St. Patrick's day around here. I guess we don't get out much.

You are so fun and festive. Did the girls find their pot of gold?

Of course I would not expect anything less from you. I was lucky that my kids remembered to wear green. Not a big holiday for us. But with them on spring break, us in the middle of a severe thunderstorm, we did not go anywhere. They had fun playing with their friends.

Green Cream of Wheat! Now that is a good idea. I am getting tired of green pancakes every year. Your girls look so cute in their St. Patty's day attire. I hope those naughty lephrecauns finally left your house. What a mess! The cupcakes look good to me!

What fun ideas. The treasure hunt idea is great.
Most of my kids wore green, except one. I spent the day pinching him.
