4 Months
Can you believe it? I am so in love with this kid. I just love the way she smiles with her entire face. When she is happy, even her ears smile. I love when she is nursing that she looks up at me and GRINS from ear to ear while still hanging on...or when she is done that she talks up a storm to me. THAT is my favorite part of her nursing. Her trying to communicate with me.
She is by far my chunkiest baby. I love that. I have never been able to squish rolls before. Oh, they are SO fun. Calling her Squishy while she is a baby is so appropriate. She is still fairly small as far as babies go, but for us she is all chub.
I swear she grew overnight. Two days ago I put her to bed and she was ity. The next morning she had grown an inch. I swear it. DH said the same thing. That all of a sudden she felt two pounds heavier.
And those teeth are almost through. When she is nursing and almost finished, I have to be quick. She thinks it is HILARIOUS to watch me scream. With as loud as my house is, she is not sensitive to noise at all. She giggles when I feel that surge of pain go through the top of my head.
She is IN LOVE with her sisters. When I am feeling like they are driving her crazy, I look at her adoring face and realize that she can't get enough of them.
In the past month she has figured out that she has arms...and hands as a result. I am getting my lips grabbed and my belly rubbed as she nurses. She grabs things to put them into her mouth. She has a penchant for ribbons and tags. That taggie has come in handy several times.
Squishy HATES the car seat. I am sure she would much rather have two sisters dog pile on her than ride in the dreaded plastic prison.
She is sleeping longer at night. I have been putting her down at 7:30 and she is waking up at 2:30 and then stays in our bed (I fall asleep nursing her and forget to put her back). She wakes up at 7:30 and then is back down for her morning nap at 8:30 and sleeps through till noon. She goes back down at 2:00 until 4:30. I love babies that sleep a lot. ;)
She has had an aversion to her baby swing until the last week. We discovered a station on XM that plays super-soft new age. When we turn it on, she calms right down. She takes after her daddy that way.
This little girl just makes our family complete.
And I love her!

She is too cute! I am happy you are enjoying her so much (especially knowing she's the last). Just revel in her baby-ness! Makes those miserable 9 months seem worth it, eh?!
Oh my cuteness!!!
We really need to have a play date. I love that big grin.
I told you that you would have an angel baby after that nightmarish pregnancy. You so deserve her!!!
Good work, my friend.
She is a cutie!!!
Oh my holy cuteness! I would get pg right now if I knew I could have a baby girl that stinking cute!
What a doll! She is growing up WAY TOO FAST! I love her smile. Simply adorable!
That "our family is complete" feeling must be bliss. I am terrified of another pregnancy.
She is so cute! I love all the smiles. Don't they just melt your heart?... I like seeing other babies sleeping schedules. Everyones is so different.
She is a doll!! I love that smile!
You're right. She is squishable. Hehe. You have very lovely daughters.
I love how full of expression that pretty little face is! She is an absolute beauty!
I know how you feel. She is lucky to have you for a mom. You worded this so great (mine came across a little to boastful), but you got the same message across.
You and DH should do the world a favor and keep reproducing!!! :)
priceless smile!! can really take all your worries away!
Awwwww, what a doll baby! :)
She HAS grown up so much! Even her hair seems longer to me. She is at my favorite baby age. I always wish I could freeze them at that stage for a few months.
Aw,she is beautiful and you sound so happy!
