Stupid...Stupid...Stupid!!!

Note to self:

If you EVER get pregnant again...and it would have to be an act of God to happen...make sure it isn't during a year when you have a month of highs in the high-90's/low 100's.

Could I have been more dumb?

Oh darlin -- I can't begin to imagine. Somehow I got lucky enough to have winter babies, so I wasn't entirely miserable in the summer.

I' will try to hate the heat enough for both of us. How's that?!

I'd hug you, but- you know - it's really hot - *wink*

Just what you need, one more thing to make things even more "UGH"... I am sorry.

Dana's comment was cute about it being too hot to hug.

You were highlighted on my ginamama.blogspot.com site. Scroll down to the thinking blogger awards.

Ah- I've been there, too, but I do love when the baby is here and it's still warm out so you can actually get outside!! Sending a nice breeze your way...

I've been lucky enough to have two Spring babies. During the winter, if the thermostat was above 65 in my house, I was completely nauseated. You must be absolutely miserable! Please say that you at least have A/C!

Just reading your latest posts and my heart goes out to you. I pray that you are feeling much much better very very soon. I pray that you can love life again and have fun, and that God touches you in every area of your life so that you can feel His presence. I am putting you and your precious family on my prayer list.

I'm pretty sure you didn't have that on your mind when all this began...I hope not anyway.

What got me through my summer pregnancy was a Mommy&Me swimming class with my then toddler. I got to sit in the pool with him and let him splash around.

That and a pool pass...and yes, my summer baby is our best swimmer too btw.

It could be worse...
It's been 115 here and our LOW's are in the 90's. Look at this way, at least it cools off in the evenings in UT... I even wear a light sweater at nights there! :)
Hope you are doing good!

So sorry, you have one more thing to add to your already miserable pregnancy. Just think, in the end you will get the most precious gift ever!

I know, what were we thinking!! Thank goodness for central air. The last time I was pregnant at this same time of year we didn't have air conditioning. No wonder I swelled to the size of a Buick. Hang in there....find every opportunity to stand in front of the freezer....hhhmmm I just can't decide what to fix for dinner honey that is why I keep opening the freezer. :)

I would do anything to be able to carry a baby. Any time of the year. Doesn't sound too stupid to me at all.

anonymous: Thanks to my nice stat counter, I know who you are. I am so sorry you can't carry a baby. I wish I could help you on that, but because I have a moment of angst, doesn't mean that my plight has been any easier. I have a moment of weakness during a time where I already feel like crap. I am allowed that. It doesn't make your infertility any easier, but our situations are completely different and separate. I deserve to be able to vent on my own blog about what I am going through.

For the record, I feel terribly for anyone that has to go through infertility. It is terrible that someone who wants a baby so badly can't have one. I also feel terribly for anyone who has to go through HG and then has a hot, miserable summer with a broken a/c unit on top of it.

I have been bad-mouthed behind my back by someone who is supposed to be "loyal" to me lately and this comment was the icing on the cake.

Oh, I know it's horrible. I'm only outside now when I have to be. I had my son in August too and now this one is due on August 14th... you'd think I would have learned my lesson!!!!

Hey Steph, sorry! sounds like things are still rough. I wish I could help.

I moved to New Orleans in July, 6 months along with #2. it was nasty.

Sit in the sprinklers and close your eyes!

Stay in the A/C! ... My first pregnancy had a due date in August. I just laid on the bed under the ceiling fan like a big, hot whale and sent my husband to buy me Wendy's Frosties. So that's my advice. LOL.

BTW, I'm having a blog contest again.

The prize this time is a kid's prize pack including 3 computer games.

Good luck if you decide to enter! (And stay cool!) :)

I'm not pregnant, but I'm wishing I could die from heat exhaustion, that way I wouldn't have to endure it any longer!!
I can't even BEGIN to imagine how YOU'RE feeling!!

Summer Pregnancies are hard. The only thing that helped me survive the kid born the beginning of Septembers pregnancy was being on bedrest and not being allowed to go anywhere.
