Drama Queen

I titled this post “The Drama Queen” because that is what I feel like I have become lately. My life has become swarmed in drama as of late. As I was reading my previous posts, I realized what a freak-out-over-the-little-things type person I have become. I realized that I have used my blog for whining and complaining more than I had intended too. That isn’t the voice I wanted for my blog. It became so easy to whine to all of MOF’s than my real-life friends. I am sorry to lean on you all for that.

To be honest, I hate drama or commotion of any sort. I love it when life is calm and well, for lack of a better word, boring. I love it when the day goes smooth and my kids are happy and we don’t have any crazy situations. I love it when I had days like yesterday where things went so well. The biggest problem I had was getting the corn done at the same time as the lasagna. How sad that I didn’t post on a good day. I have been saving my posting for the yucky days.

So my apologies to those of you that constantly had to hear my incessant whining. I am sorry that is most of what you know about me. I promise there is so much more to me than that.

LOL!! It just makes you real!! We are all aware there is more to you than "whining." However, we are moms - we love to get perspective and PRAYERS before making huge decisions or taking actions. Trust me --- we will all do this at one time or another....

Everyone is allowed to have their bad days. In fact we need that. Hopefully things are going more smoothly for you now.

I never once thought you were "whining."

If you didn't post some of the bad along with the good, I don't think I'd like you so much.

We MUST be living parallel lives...I've been a Drama Queen TOO!! (I also feel sorry for those who come to my blog and ALL I do is complain!)
I never feel like you whine too much...if it makes you feel any better! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your blog!! :)

I never thought you were whining, or a drama queen! Everyone doesn't have perfect lives and I think it makes you real that you share the more real things!

Oh...don't be so hard on yourself! One of the things I love about reading other people's blogs is knowing that I'm not the only one who has terrible, no good, rotten, horrible days....or several of them in a row.

My MIL told me a while back that she learned to appreciate and be thankful for "the sameness of days" - when no one was sick or hurt or suffering, everything was just at peace. I have to really practice that, because although I am not dramatic, I get restless when I have too many calm days all at once. But I hope that you start enjoying a good season of sameness of days again soon!

Venting is an important part of a woman's life. We all need to hear, "I understand how you feel.

I have never thought you were whining. :) Me on my blog recently? Now there's some whining.

It is your blog and you get to write about whatever you want. We all have our ups and downs and I think that's why we read other blogs too.

Two words: BROTHER CLARK.

Half my August posts have been whiny. Sometimes it's that way. I've done a ton of weeping and sobbing lately, but I figure my friends are my friends, and they'll come back if they love me. :)

So don't worry, I don't mind your complaining, and frankly I hadn't noticed it at all... I just come over and read Stephanie's blog when Bloglines tells me to. And I always enjoy it. :)

Don't fret about it. I use my blog to be a bossy know-it-all!

Hey, don't sweat it. Sometimes it's good to just VENT and it can be impossible to do that in *real* life.

Have a great weekend! :)

Hey--- That's what friends are for. We take the good and the bad! I totally agree with you on the boring days, I would take that over drama too.

Hope things are going better for your dd.

I'm going to repeat everyone here and say, you are totally normal!!

We do have our bad days. We are to be strong. We are to handle the jellied curtains, the strep, missing report cards and a cake that fell in the oven. Just remember, you chose this path in life because you wanted it. It's not how you fall, it's how fast you get back up, brush yourself off and keep on moving forward.

:o) Have a good weekend...

I never thought you were a whiner, either! You come across as a real life person in your blog. Besides, a little drama spices up life (and a blog), especially if it is someone elses!

I agree with everyone else. It makes you REAL.

And may I say that I giggled that you wrote "MOFs". My husband has started quite the little acronym there! haha!

I specifically remember "what a big kid now" and "what did you do Sat. night?" Those were not whiny posts (just to remind you) :) And, it's your blog...blog about whatever the heck you want. I swear if someone else reads how much more I hate AZ and how I want to sell my house and go back to TX they may ban me from the blogosphere! LOL!

I'm sorry about the dog. I wish I could buy you a new one just like it but I can't cause I don't have enough money.

She looks too cute to be gone.
