She is 5 lbs 6 ozs
I am 50% effaced
I am dialated to a 1
My contractions are 5 minutes apart and PAINFUL
The baby's head is still high and my bag of waters is NOT bulging
He is giving me a steroid shot on Tuesday unless the contractions become more painful and then I am to go in earlier
I am going on a different medication because the Terb is not touching my contractions
We really DON'T want this baby to come before October 17th. My due date is really November 20th. The Princess was 5 1/2 weeks early and fine. She weighed in at 6lbs 1 oz. The Pea was 2 1/2 weeks early and had a few problems. She weighed in at 8lbs 6ozs.
Anyone want to play "Guess the due date?"

ReplyDeleteLiam's birthday, Oct. 25th. Could you possibly go that long though. Sounds like she is coming in the next week or so. That is so cool you got a preview of what she looks like. What a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping my little one arrives on October 20th. Want to be in labor at the same time? If only we could arrange that. M asks me everyday when the baby is coming....I don' know I keep telling her. It would be nice if we could predict that a little better. I hope your little one hangs in there a little longer...at least for her sake, for yours I hope she comes quickly.

ReplyDeleteThose are some good sized babies for coming early!! wow!! Scarlet was the same as the princess and she was full-term... with that being said, that is GOOD news for YOU and baby! At lease she is growing well and gaining weight, but you need to keep her in there longer...
So... since I think you need to keep her in there longer... I am guessing October 31st. :) Afterall, she is a princess so there will be no need to dress-up.
"J" was 5 lbs 6 oz. when he was born! (3 weeks early) Hopefully you can keep the baby in longer, but as long as she's stable, she should be able to come home, even if she's small! I'll be thinking of you and I'll say October 14th!

I'm going to throw my money down on October 23 because that's during the cusp of the moon and the change from one astrological sign to another and the lunar shift usually sees a higher number of women go into labor. I'm all scientific and stuff.

Oh, I see chubby cheeks! Can't wait to meet my new little niece! I'm so excited to see when both babies come. I'm sure you'll go before me, which is well deserved after all you've been through. To guess a date...hmmm...never been good at this. Holy cow! I just realized that October 17th is just one week away. Geesh. Can you believe you may have a new baby in one week.
